Job description: Job Description:Our South Delta client is seeking a seasoned Operations Accountant to join their Accounting Team. This is an in the office position – and a vehicle will be required as the location is not transit friendly.The organization has a stellar reputation in their industry with locations in both the US and Canada. This role will be responsible for the processing of all invoices from vendors and is a key contributor in ensuring both Operational expenditures and Capital expenditures are reviewed and processed timely while working alongside of their fellow team members. A collaborative team player, the Operations Accountant embodies a positive, professional, proactive approach to their work.Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3-5 years of related accounts payable experience, ideally in a busy – complex environment
• experience processing Capital expenditure payables ideally in a construction or project environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Time management and priority management skills.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting, including knowledge of ASPE.
• Self-starter requiring limited supervision and a desire to work in a team environment.
• Analytical skills, and extreme attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
