Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThe Sessional Lecturer will teach a one-half credit online course, HESA 4005-Healthcare Financial Management in the Diploma in Emergency Health Services Management and the Diploma in Health Services Administration programs during the fall term (September-December 2024). Please refer to the Dalhousie Academic Calendar for the course description. Responsibilities include: all aspects of teaching and administering the course; course preparation including course content for lectures, tests/assignments/exam preparation and evaluation/marking of student course work, as well as, providing tutorial support to students. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course. The position reports to the Director of the School.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionMaster degree in health administration or business administration, or relevant equivalent is required along with a minimum of five years work experience in the health sector. Previous teaching experience is a strong asset. Experience with Brightspace is preferred. Professional accounting designation preferred.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
