Job title: (Part-Time Academic) HESA 6340: Human Resources in Healthcare – Fall 2024

Job description: The Sessional Lecturer will teach an onsite one-half credit, graduate-level course, HESA 6340 ‘Human Resources in Healthcare’, in the Master of Health Administration program during the fall term (September-December 2024). For the course description please refer to the Dalhousie Academic Calendar. Responsibilities include: all aspects of teaching and administering the course; course preparation including course content for lectures, test/assignments/exam preparation and evaluation/marking of student course work, as well as, providing tutorial support to students. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course and reports to the Director of the School.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionGraduate degree in administration or management (MHA, MBA, PhD) or equivalent from a recognized, accredited university. Formal training and/or professional experience in the healthcare sector, specifically in the speciality of Health Human Resource. Extensive and progressive professional experience with human resource management would be an asset. Previous graduate-level teaching experience and proficiency with Brightspace would be an asset.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
