Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position. Under supervision, performs warehouse duties involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets. Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals. Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required. Deployed on a day-to-day, routine basis against all facets of warehouse operations; in addition, incumbents must demonstrate high levels of performance against these tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to
ensure proper and safe handling conditions
- Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence
- Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery
- Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks
- Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs,Signature of Receipts, etc.)
- Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items
- Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis
Qualifications
- Valid G Class Drivers License
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an
asset
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision
- Ability to complete routes safely in all weather
conditions
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
