If you want to contribute to KAG’s excellent tradition of innovation and leadership in the logistics and transportation industry, we invite you to apply!Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Shop Planner is responsible for the daily operation within the Fleet Services function of our Moose Jaw Terminal. In this role, you are expected to deliver on your objectives while supporting the Terminal in achieving necessary results. The successful applicant should possess mechanical knowledge of highway tractors and trailers.This is a Monday to Friday position, days. 7:00 AM startAbout the position:

  • Coordinating calls, emails, scheduling planner, manager the PO system, and track and manage costs
  • Regularly auditing partner vendor quotes, and completed repairs to ensure quality maintenance that is consistent and aligned with our company standards
  • Ordering, receiving, tracking and maintaining parts inventory through our TMT maintenance system
  • Responsible for communicating and coordinating with Operations and customers for any equipment repairs.
  • Involved in maintenance and general up-keep of the facilities and applicable properties

What you bring:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to plan and coordinate maintenance and possessing an understanding of maintenance programs
  • Highly energetic person with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of standard repair times within maintenance industry
  • Well organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic and confident with a roll up your sleeves attitude towards work
  • Ability to maintain a professional and respectful composure in challenging situations
  • Excellent customer service skill with ability to clearly communicate
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • A solid business presence complimented by personal drive, resourcefulness, maturity, integrity, honesty and sound business judgement
