Job description: Job Description:Our Calgary-based non-profit client is looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk for a contract position. This role requires full-cycle payroll experience and strong Pay Works skills – no internal training available.Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
• Handle vacation calculations and payroll-related reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with employment standards and payroll legislation
• Coordinate payroll-related documentation, deductions, and adjustments
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing as needed
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting
• Utilize Financial Edge (training will be provided)
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Requirements:What You Bring:

• Proven experience in payroll and/or accounting roles
• Hands-on experience with Pay Works
• Solid background in full-cycle payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of vacation pay calculations and Alberta payroll regulations
• Exposure to Accounts Payable and general accounting practices
• Experience in the non-profit sector is a strong asset
• Available to start immediately
