Validation of eligibility will be required if selected for an interview.Working under the direct supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll & Human Resources Administrator’s duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Payroll:

• Enter new employees into the systems.
• Generate 4 payrolls monthly.

• Reconcile approved timesheets on OneDrive.
• Enter timesheet data to the payroll journal.
• Calculate and print paystubs.
• Submit the payroll to the bank.
• Terminate employees in the systems and issuing ROE.
• Remit payroll taxes.
• Post and pay subcontractor and group benefits invoice.

• Human Resources:

• Compile, review and process new hire, group insurance, change requests, and departure paperwork ensuring accuracy and completion, with follow-up as needed.
• Support administration of the service recognition program including gift inventory and distribution.
• Administer Employee Education Assistance program in collaboration with HR.

What you offer:Preference will be given to candidates who have related education and experience. The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years payroll and/or HR experience, similar role preferred
• Payroll related education or experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Text to Columns, etc.) and PDF XChange Editor.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Dynamics 365 Business Central an asset.
