Job description: Description :West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Blue Ridge Lumber is currently recruiting for a Permanent Shipping Clerk.Key Responsibilities Include
- Update the Production Schedule (Forecast)
- Enter daily production in JDE
- Close communication with Production Superintendent and Shift Coordinators.
- Prepare shipping instructions and daily load sheets for forklift operators
- Manage mill inventory levels and optimize the warehouse
- Complete any local sales orders for employees/contractors as needed
- Work one Saturday a month or as needed to perform inventory adjustments for month-end
- Other duties as required
You have:
- Post-secondary training in Administration or Accounting would be an asset
- 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in Oracle accounts payable or JD Edwards is an asset
- High degree of accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be flexible and be able to adjust to changing workloads and tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, advanced Excel skills
- A self-starter with the initiative to learn and grow
