Join us now and point your career forward!Job SummaryNow, if you were to come on board as our Patient Transport Supervisor, we would ask you to do the following for us:
- Run the daily operations of patient transport and oversee unionized staff
- Work collaboratively with other department supervisors and staff
- Assist with the development & implementation of area improvement plans
- Liaise with end users regularly to ascertain & accommodate procedural and urgent needs and patient flow
- Utilize specific software effectively for the production & utilization of all relevant reports
- Encourage & inspire patient transport staff to reach benchmarks through innovative methods that center around neutral communication & positive reinforcement
- Advocate strict adherence to the infection control process and instruct/advise accordingly
- Creation of all necessary shift reports, including maintenance deficiency requests for immediate or scheduled consideration
- Available to work flexible hours to meet hospital’s needs
