We’re committed to investing responsibly; we develop innovative global frameworks for sustainable investing, collaboratively engage with companies in our public market portfolios, and maintain a high standard of stewardship where we own and operate assets.We are seeking a Portfolio Accountant to join our growing team!Job responsibilities:Assist with the monthly and quarterly NAV oversight process for several private market senior credit funds to ensure the overall accuracy of the fund administrators portfolio accounting books of record.Lead administrator duties and deliverables via internal tracker, report status, escalate delays, establish workarounds and solutions to ensure timely and accurate production of the monthly and quarterly client reporting process in conjunction with the front office, finance, performance, and the administrator.Review and reconcile various general ledger accounts including cash and holdings by liaising with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any differences in the custodian and administrator’s books of record.Prepare and provide cash forecast projections to portfolio managers on a daily basis based on future fund activity by tracking potential deal closings, expense payments, receivables, and fund cash flows.Prepare the calculation and execution of capital calls and distributions, calculation of carried interest waterfalls, and performance measurement and reporting.Maintain senior loan deal information on a dynamic basis for the team’s use in preparation of NAV strikes and client reports.Adherence to internal policies and procedures.Provide Admin data to support the front office, finance, compliance, and internal leadership requests.Work closely with managers to implement efficiencies to existing operating model as needed.Strong contributions to projects, new initiatives, and technology development.What motivates you?You obsess about customers, listen, engage and act for their benefit.You think big, with curiosity to discover ways to use your agile approach and enable business outcomes.You thrive in teams and enjoy getting things done together.You take ownership and build solutions, focusing on what matters.You do what is right, work with integrity and speak up.You share your humanity, helping us build a diverse and inclusive work environment for everyoneWhat we are looking for3-5 years of alternative investments experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or operations.Accounting or Finance degree.Detailed understanding of leveraged loans, specifically private senior credit, including the underlying market for their origination, assignment, and syndicationStrong analytical skills.Must have the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels and different functions throughout the organization and with external partners.Strong planning, communication, and collaboration skills.What can we offer you?A competitive salary and benefits packages.A growth trajectory that extends upward and outward, encouraging you to follow your passions and learn new skills.A focus on growing your career path with us.Flexible work policies and strong work-life balance.Professional development and leadership opportunities.Our commitment to youValues-first culture
