You are subscribed to receive alerts for jobs similar to this one.TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our clients team.Our esteemed client is a leader in providing pre-construction, construction management services, and design-building services for industrial and commercial projects.Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000/year.Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Cultivate robust client relationships and ensure their satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Lead projects from inception to commencement of construction, including strategic planning for new potential projects.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, each at different stages of the pre-construction process.
- Review project plans and specifications throughout the design development stages.
- Oversee project schedules and budgets, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct basic estimates and quantity takeoffs to understand project costs and explore value engineering options.
- Coordinate with the estimating team on project tender packages and subcontractor quotations.
- Work with the Development Team on permit acquisition and site preparation, including environmental considerations.
- Handle documentation management and administrative activities, including initiating an RFI process during pre-construction.
- Mentor and manage team members, while maintaining professional relationships with all project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Educational background in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction
- Experience managing preconstruction phases of complex projects ($5M-$50M).
- Proven ability to drive projects to construction start, leading consultant teams.
- Skilled in developing detailed project plans using project management tools.
- Strong planning, execution, and timeline/budget management skills.
- Superior analytic, problem-solving, and judgment abilities.
- Proven relationship-building skills with sub trades, consultants, clients, and executives.
- Experience with process redesign, mapping, and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project); LEED AP knowledge is an asset.
