Job description: Job Description:Our client in Calgary is seeking a detail-oriented Production Accountant for a contract role. This position is responsible for preparing and validating monthly production data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting internal reporting processes. Experience with Metrix or PAS is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile monthly production volumes and related data
- Submit reports in compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve discrepancies
- Process production data using Metrix or PAS
- Support accruals, variance analysis, and audit preparation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ad-hoc duties as requested
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a production accounting role
- Proficiency in Metrix or PAS
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- CAPPA certification or similar designation is an asset
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Available to start immediately
