Therefore, we are seeking a Production Engineer to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta. This dynamic role will play a crucial role in supporting daily production operations, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring smooth field operations. This full-time, permanent position requires a strong technical background in oil and gas production, with a preference for candidates experienced in Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD). The successful candidate will be responsible for data analysis, troubleshooting operational issues, and contributing to production optimization efforts.Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical).
• Preferably registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng), or eligible for membership with APEGA.
• 6+ years’ experience working as a Production Engineer, or in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and familiarity with digital reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive approach to learning and supporting innovation in production processes.
• A strong technical background in oil and gas production, with a preference for candidates experienced in Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD).

Your Role with Our Team

• Monitor, analyze and optimize production operations.
• Compile and prepare statistical reports, including monthly summaries, to support management and operational decisions.
• Assist in data collection, validation, and integration for production reporting systems.
• Support the development and maintenance of digital tools and workflows to improve team efficiency.
• Participate in production forecasting, target setting, and well performance assessments.
• Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation and operational equipment issues, prioritizing maintenance and repairs.
• Contribute to the month-end production data validation process for accurate production accounting.
