Job description: We are excited to be working with a well-established oil and gas company as they continue to expand their Production Accounting team. With a recent promotion, we are now assisting in finding a new intermediate level Production Revenue Accountant to join their team. The following are some of the highlights of the background requirements for this position:

• Full cycle production accounting desk including master data set up, reporting monthly volumes, analysis of allocations, facility charges, royalties and financial entries.
• Financial entries into Qbyte FM.
• Review of non-crown royalty contracts and working with owner queries.
• Review and entry of 3rd party fees

This position will be part of a team of five and it is very important that you have the right analytical skillset to be successful. At the same time be a strong team oriented individual who will work well with others in ensuring monthly deadlines are met.Qualifications and background required for success in this role:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a production and revenue reporting capacity.
• Educational background should include a Business Degree or a CAPPA designation.
• Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing non-crown contracts.
• Familiarity with Metrix, Qbyte FM, Optix and Production Manager.
• Proficient with Excel including pivot tables and lookup formulas.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and organized with the ability to manage a busy desk.
