Bring your leadership, administrative and organizational skills to this position to provide our patrons with educational, engaging and memorable experiences!This position offers program administrative support to the Edmonton Valley Zoo, Muttart Conservatory, John Janzen Nature Centre, City Arts Centre & John Walter Museum. Using the knowledge and awareness of facilities and programs the incumbent of this position will be responsible for receiving and responding to reservation requests from the public; consult on customer needs and make appropriate recommendations based on interest, age group and availability of programs and venues, and in turn communicate these needs to the staff delivering the programs.What you will do:

  • Answering telephone and online queries specific to programs offered, date and time availability, content and costing (for program requests related to educational programs and birthday party bookings)
  • Recommend programs most suited to clients needs
  • Maintain ongoing updates to resource and reference materials, seasonal program calendaring, venue availability, venue and program capacities
  • Payment processing of client account balances due
  • Resolving Accounts Receivable inquiries
  • Refund processing for credit account balances
  • Maintaining resource and material supplies, confirmation contact with clients prior to scheduled date of delivery and issuing program resource materials to group leaders
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade
  • Two years diversified general office experience including working with the general public, tour groups, children and other program users
