- Reconcile and process all project-related accounts payable and other costing allocations.
- Assemble client billing packages in accordance with contract terms and conditions and follow up to ensure timely payment.
- Subcontract Management: understand subcontract terms and conditions, audit subcontractor invoices and ensure subcontractors are paid within contract terms.
- Participate in monthly project forecast review meetings for assigned projects to provide input on project financial status.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills required to interact with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and owners.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientated, and able to meet deadlines and requirements.
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel and knowledge and experience with accounting software. Specific experience with Oracle/E1 an asset.
- Applicants must be willing to work on project sites out of town on varying shift rotations. Living out allowances or camp accommodations will be provided where applicable.
