By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a diverse career that could take you anywhere in the world.Lycopodium is looking for a Project Accountant to join our growing Project Controls team in Mississauga, ON.Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Project Accountant will ensure the maintenance and reporting of committed, expended and forecast costs to complete against project budgets.The tasks you’ll perform
- Input control budget at commencement of project
- Generate and process invoice approval forms and maintain relevant registers
- Preparation and transmittal of cash calls and payment runs
- Maintain cost control aspect of the project management system, including budget, revisions, forecasts and change control
The expertise you’ll bring
- Qualifications in an Accounting discipline, or equivalent work experience of 3+ years
- Knowledge of computerized accounting cost control systems, and their operations and applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, particularly excel.
