We work with proactive clients who understand the importance of having exceptional staff.partner staffing on behalf of our Client, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinator & Lead Land Analyst based in the Edmonton office to manage land access, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement for projects across the Upstream, Midstream, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors. With a primary focus on Alberta and British Columbia, this role involves leading cross-functional teams and ensuring successful project execution from initiation to completion.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple land access and permitting projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.​
  • Ensure projects are executed on time and within scope while meeting regulatory requirements.

Land Management & Analysis:

  • Manage land acquisition, agreements, and tenure processes for project development.
  • Conduct land-use analysis, GIS mapping, and landowner engagement.
  • Analyze land titles, rights, and encumbrances to ensure compliance.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement:

  • Liaise with landowners, Indigenous communities, government agencies, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Obtain required permits and approvals from regulatory bodies.
  • Support environmental assessments and regulatory applications.

Leadership & Team Collaboration:

  • Mentor and lead junior land analysts and project staff.
  • Collaborate with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to align land strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in land coordination, project management, or regulatory analysis.
  • Proven experience in the Upstream, Midstream, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors in Western Canada, particularly Alberta and British Columbia.
  • Strong understanding of land acquisition, permitting processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with GIS mapping, land use assessments, and environmental considerations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Land Management, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional designation (e.g., PLM, PMP) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Indigenous consultation processes and engagement strategies.

Expected salary: $80000 – 130000 per year
