Job description: LAND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER / PROJECT COORDINATORDescriptionOur client is looking for dedicated professionals to contribute to the ongoing growth of their land development infrastructure and water resources team. This role involves working collaboratively with a talented team of design, management, and technical leaders. The position supports the land development engineering practice in their Guelph and Kitchener, Ontario offices, which offer services across various settings. Projects include land development and civil site design for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal sites.Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in all phases of residential subdivision developments, from initial design to construction and final assumption.
- Conduct conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for diverse land development projects.
- Collaborate with and leverage technical resources within the land development team as project requirements dictate.
- Develop and review engineering drawing sets, technical memos, reports, construction plans, and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited university.
- Proven experience in engineering design for residential subdivision and site plan land development projects.
- Proficiency in standard analysis programs, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and high level of motivation.
- Skilled in writing and reviewing technical reports.
- Dedication to maintaining technical excellence.
