The organization also delivers some region-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for health organizations.With over 12,000 interdisciplinary employees delivering clinical, preventive, and administrative shared services in partnership with over 250 local, regional, and provincial health service delivery organizations in urban, rural, and remote locations across the area, our client provides patients with the best health care and health outcomes possible. This is achieved by partnering with health organizations, educational institutions, and clinical experts to plan and deliver evidence-based, innovative, and sustainable models of care that are accessible, consistent, and serve the needs of all patients as close to home as possible.The Provincial Health System Transformation project is the largest change to the provincial healthcare system in a generation. This initiative aims to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services. Additionally, the project focuses on delivering centralized business functions to support the delivery of care across provincial health organizations. The transformation requires proven, province-wide leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions. This is to build an integrated leadership team and effective pan-system relationships that drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, and provide centralized business functions and provincial health services. Our client operates a jurisdictional tertiary hospital and provides a broad range of health delivery services spanning all areas of care, including primary, acute, and continuous across urban, rural, and remote areas.Education and Certifications: * Project Management Certification: Proof of certification is required with the application.

Overview: SRA Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a robust background in healthcare management consulting. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in business strategy consulting, project management, organizational change management, and human resources advisory services, particularly within public sector and healthcare environments.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Report project progress to the steering committee and stakeholders.
  • Conduct organizational data analysis and present restructuring plans to senior management.
  • Participate in organizational change management activities, including readiness planning and risk identification.
  • Conduct organizational reviews of labour unions, analyze structures, and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Provide human resources advisory services, focusing on performance management, career transition, and recruitment practices.
  • Contribute to the planning and establishment of provincial healthcare service organizations, ensuring alignment with government priorities.

Skills and Experience:Management Consulting:

  • 10 years of experience in a management consulting role providing business strategy consulting and restructuring plans.
  • Duties include performing analysis on organizational data and recommending plans to senior management.
  • Required: 4 examples of projects/work totaling at least 10 years, with at least 2 examples involving public organizations.

Project Management:

  • 5 years of experience in a project management role.
  • Responsibilities include developing project plans and budgets, monitoring project performance, and reporting progress.
  • Required: 3 examples of projects/work totaling at least 5 years.

Organizational Change Management (OCM):

  • 5 years of experience in OCM activities.
  • Duties include developing readiness plans, identifying change risks, and developing communications.
  • Required: 3 examples of projects/work totaling at least 5 years.

Labour Union Organizational Reviews:

  • 2 years of experience conducting organizational reviews of labour unions in the public sector.
  • Activities include analyzing structures, identifying process improvements, and providing leadership recommendations.
  • Required: 1 example of a project/work totaling at least 2 years.

Human Resources Advisory Services:

  • 3 years of experience in human resources advisory services.
  • Experience includes advising on performance management, career transition, and recruitment practices.
  • Required: 2 examples of projects/work totaling at least 3 years, with at least 1 example involving a public organization.

Healthcare Service Planning:

  • 1 year of experience planning the establishment of provincial healthcare service organizations.
  • Involvement in planning healthcare service alignment with government priorities.
  • Required: 1 example of a project/work totaling at least 1 year.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
