Job description: The Opportunity:Join our amazing client’s team as a Superintendent in ICI Construction in Ontario. This role presents an opportunity to oversee on-site operations, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the successful completion of construction projects while upholding company values and standards.What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing daily on-site activities to ensure project progress and compliance with established timelines.
  • Monitoring and maintaining productivity and efficiency of staff and subcontractors to meet project schedules and financial targets.
  • Contributing to construction planning by coordinating subcontractor activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with design and contractual obligations throughout the construction process.
  • Supervising all construction and field engineering tasks to uphold quality standards and project specifications.
  • Managing project scheduling, budgeting, and system commissioning to achieve project goals within budget constraints.
  • Upholding company and project standards in all aspects of workmanship and execution.
  • Enforcing adherence to health and safety protocols to create a secure work environment and maintain proper safety documentation.
  • Assisting in resolving conflicts related to work interferences, scheduling issues, and budget constraints to keep projects on track.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in a Superintendent role within the ICI construction sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead site personnel and subcontractors towards project success.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards and ensuring compliance on-site.
  • Problem-solving skills to address conflicts and challenges that arise during construction projects.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and additional duties as assigned by superiors.
