Job description: Job Description:We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Accountant for our Calgary client with experience in real estate accounting. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge of month-end closing, investor reporting, lease administration, and multiple financial systems.Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and bills.
- Process and report cash receipts.
- Prepare and maintain various journal entries.
- Execute month-end closing tasks and reconciliations.
- Conduct investor reporting effectively.
- Assist with budgeting activities on behalf of property owners.
- Collaborate with fund teams on various projects.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports following ASPE, GAAP, and IFRS standards.
- Support lease administration duties as needed.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting or in a role with month-end closing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle JDE, Entrado, and MS Excel (Intermediate level).
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Available to start immediately
