Job description: Job Description:We are in search of a Property Accountant to join an industry leader based in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will be tasked with processing and recording company and inter-company transactions, creating monthly financial statements, and performing annual CAM Reconciliations.Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record all company and inter-company transactions using YARDI Voyager

• Generate monthly financial statements and related reports for multiple Canadian commercial rental companies

• Perform annual CAM Reconciliations

• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare transfers and wires

• Generate weekly bank balance reports

• Handle monthly GST filings

• Adapt to handle various other duties as they arise

• Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform auditing duties and ensure adherence to Accrual Accounting practices

• Manage intercompany transactions and perform bank reconciliations

• Utilize skills in Account Coding and Property Accounting

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relatable experience is desired.

• Knowledge in Cam Reconciliation is an asset.

• Proficiency in using Yardi Voyager and Yardi software is an asset

• Previous experience in Property Accounting is desired.

Expected salary: $70000 – 75000 per year
