Job #4700 – Our stable and successful client is looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to be an integral part of their impressive team! The chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple responsibilities. As a key member of the finance team, you’ll be relied upon to produce accurate and timely financial results while reporting directly to the Senior Property Accountant. Main responsibilities include:

• Generate monthly financial statements
• Assist with the preparation of year-end files for auditor
• Complete payroll and payroll remittances
• Complete the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Formal accounting education
• 2 or more years of accounting experience
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of the full A/P and A/R cycle
• Ability to generate monthly financial statements considered a strong asset
• Experience in property management or real estate is also a strong asset
