Fall 2024 Internship Opportunity Available!In this exciting role, you will be part of the software development team within our imaging division and will collaborate with the designers of the vision library assisting them in testing new functionalities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in the improvement of our automated test infrastructure.Come join us this Fall!Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with developers of the AIL library to develop automated testing strategies for new functionalities
  • Designs and develops tests in object-oriented C ++
  • Analyzes and debugs existing code
  • Designs Python scripts for our automation infrastructure or for data collection, analysis and visualization
  • Participates in the improvement of our test automation tools on systems such as Linux
  • Learns and understands the architecture of our existing software testing infrastructure
  • Learns and understands the concepts of artificial vision related to the functionalities to be tested

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess good basis of object oriented programming with experience in languages such as C++ or C#
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Competent in both French and English (spoken and written)
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
