Job description: Our client is seeking a Record Center Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform warehouse duties and physically demanding tasks which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Record Center Specialist (Warehouse Associate)Location: 24th Avenue, Surrey, BCPay Range: $ 20.14 / hourTarget Start Date: September 2024 to December 9, 2024
Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours a day including 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Shift starts at 9:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to FridayWhat’s the Job?

• process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes and other materials.
• The work is very physical requiring the manual lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling and twisting.
• must be able to lift and carry boxes ranging in weight from 10-100lbs on a regular basis, without assistance.
• must be able to load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks while walking on uneven and concrete surfaces.

What’s Needed?

• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods
• Previous warehouse or physically demanding experience is preferred.
• Reliability clearance is required for this role; Candidate must be willing to pay upfront to get their fingerprints taken to complete the Reliability clearance before they start. This could be reimbursed after a month of working, but is at their discretion, so reimbursement is not guaranteed, especially if they do not stay there.

This is also a clearance that harder for people who have been in Canada for less than 5 years to get, so please keep this is mind. If they pay for fingerprints but then do not clear, they will not be reimbursed.
