The successful candidate will function within the multidisciplinary team and rotate through all surgical services including ambulatory procedures unitQualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
• Successful completion of post graduate OR course required
• 3 years recent OR experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player, ability to utilize critical thinking skills, positive caring attitude, flexible and willingness to learn
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
