Expression of Interest x2REPORTS TO: Manager, Critical Care, Telemetry/ISU and CardiorespiratoryDATE REQUIRED: As soon as possibleSALARY: $39.07 to $56.00 per hourQUALIFICATIONS:
– Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of OntarioEXPERIENCE:
– Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Stroke Care/Rehabilitation preferred
– Recent/related courses, in-services in Stroke Care/Rehabilitation nursing preferredSKILLS/ABILITIES:
– Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
– Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
– Ability to work independently and as a team member
– Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
– Excellent physical assessment skills
– Ability to understand and interpret typical and atypical telemetry and cardiac monitoring preferredREQUIRED SKILLS (to be completed within 3 months of hire):
– Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
– Recent Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course or equivalent (current experience)
