Job description: Sales ManagerOur client is searching for a Sales Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring company growth by sustaining and growing the customer base. A successful candidate will solidify the sales personnel into a cohesive team that works for and represents the entire company. This role reports directly to the CEO.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Develop new customer relationships and make sales
• Meet and sell product to existing clients
• Ensure a consistently high level of customer service
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and co-workers
• Seek and develop new products and marketing opportunities
• Collaborate with the CEO and Store Manager in regards to purchasing, pricing, and developing the Marketing Strategy and sales targets
• Work with the sales team to develop a plan to transfer the strategic concept into sales
• Evaluate the sales process and results, and suggest ways to increase efficiency and profitability
• Represent the company at community functions, presentations, with the press or other media
• Budget and disperse the company apparel and other gifts
• Create an agenda, prepare for and attend weekly team meetings with reports and targets as required by this position and the CEO and Store Managers
• Work with the sales people to create a cohesive sales team all working and learning together to create a profitable corporation

Your strengths include:

• Management experience is an asset
• Knowledge of ERP software, and proficiency with MS Excel Outlook
• Leadership aptitude and experience
• Exceptional people skills to communicate and negotiate effectively with vendors, customers and staff
