The Senior Accountant reports to the controller and will play a key role in the forecasting and budgeting process. Responsibilities:

• Address discrepancies with a high level of strong problem-solving skills
• Provide financial insight on various projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Establish cost centre budgets, and communicate your review and commentary of material variances to budget results to department heads
• Identify gaps in internal control environment
• Prepare financial reports for submission in and accurate and timely manner

Requirements:

• Must have CPA Relevant university degree
• At least 5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of US GAAP is an asset
• Multi-national corporation experience is an asset
