Job description: Job Description:Robert Half is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Full Cycle Accountant on behalf of our reputable client operating in the service sector in Langley, British Columbia.Working Structure: This Full Cycle Accountant role is a full-time position, based in Langley, BC, requiring an onsite presence during regular working hours of 40 hours per week. This position will work in a small team and report directly to a CPA designated Controller who is seeking a right-hand accountant for their Finance team. You will be working on reporting at branch as well as corporate level including consolidated reporting.Why Join Us?

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Full Cycle Accounting: Responsible for managing all facets of accounting, from recording financial transactions to preparing financial statements, for 5+ divisions across Canada.
• Month-end and Year-end Close: Meticulously oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures and check for accuracy of all financial data. Ensure all financial deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure the general ledger is regularly updated and accurate.
• Journal Entries and Adjustments: Prepare and post journal entries, make necessary period-end accruals and adjustments. Maintain a thorough record of all entries and adjustments made.
• Audit Preparations: Actively participate in the audit process by collaborating with external auditors. Prepare necessary audit documentation and working papers.
• Cross-train and Backup: Provide cross-training for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Act as a backup, when necessary, to ensure continuity of financial operations.
• Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the Controller to assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports, adhering to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).

Requirements:Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in a multi-entity environment within Canada or 5+ years in a Intermediate to Senior Accountant capacity, if not pursuing CPA program.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidates with experience with Sage 300 ERP system will be given preference.
• CPA designation or currently enrolled in the program
