Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a full-time basis and provide support to the Director of Finance. If you have a strong foundation of accounting, including full cycle and month-end reporting and analysis, please apply today! The main responsibilities include:

• Provide AR/AP oversight
• Assist with budget, financial systems and controls
• Process bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and post investment account and capital asset depreciation journal entries
• Prepare and post prepayments, accruals and deferred revenue
• Prepare and analyze expense reports
• Act as a financial systems expert and provide support as needed
• Other duties as required

• Post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance
• CPA designation completed or in progress
• 3+ years full cycle accounting experience, including month-end reports and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and x-lookups
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Tech savvy

Definite Assets:

• Sage Intacct
• Previous experience with nonprofit/charity accounting

Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:

• $70,000 – $80,000 annual salary
