Job description: Job Description:We have partnered up with an industry leader for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Controller to manage our financial status. This includes carrying out full cycle accounting duties, managing our inventory, and improving our financial processes. The ideal candidate for this position has demonstrated experience with Sage 300 and NetSuite, is reliable and proficient in managing broad range of accounting, financial and business needs.Responsibilities: * Carry out full cycle accounting duties, including preparation of monthly financial reports, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
- Assist the controller with the management of operational data and maintain records of business transactions.
- Manage company inventory and keep track of all transactions.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Aid in preparation and coordination of the audit process.
- Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and systems for more accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Support other tasks and projects as needed by the Controller.

- CPA pursuit or completed designation is considered an asset
- Proven experience as a full cycle accountant in a similar role.
- Experience using Sage 300, NetSuite, or similar accounting software is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP / IFRS regulations.
- Managing and processing invoices and payments in an efficient and timely manner as part of the accounts payable function.
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
- Good understanding of inventory management practices is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and independently when needed.
Expected salary: $80000 – 85000 per year
