Job description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a 4-month contract. Our client is currently navigating implementing a new ERP and requires a consultant to assist various members of the team. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliations and variance analysis. There is a lot of analysis required around the AP function and the consultant must be willing to step in and assist AP team as required.ABOUT YOU:You are a seasoned Senior Accountant with extensive experience in reconciliation and variance analysis. As a strong communicator, you excel in both written and verbal presentation and are adept at collaborating with diverse team members. Your experience, and preferably backed by an accounting designation, makes you an ideal consultant. You are hands-on and willing to assist the AP team as required, with a keen eye for analysis to ensure a smooth transition and efficient operations. • The selected candidate will have previous experience in similar role and ideally possess an accounting designation
• Extensive reconciliation and variance analysis experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with operations will be considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work successfully in a changing and dynamic environment
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
