Robert Half is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support one of our Edmonton area clients.As a Senior Accountant, you will have crucial responsibilities including preparing grant/fund reporting for the Government. Including reviewing past spending and future allocations to report accurate funding dollars.ABOUT YOU: You are the Senior Accountant that our Edmonton client needs, someone who understands the crucial role of accounting in shaping a not-for-profit organization. With over 7 years of progressive experience under your belt, you are comfortable overseeing financial reports and are adept at preparing meticulous grant/fund reporting for the Government. This includes the critical review of past spending and strategic allocation of future funds to report accurate funding dollars. A proficient user of Excel, you can navigate the software with ease to accomplish various accounting tasks. Paired with your strong communication skills, your proactive approach to problem-solving has consistently helped the not-for-profit or public sector organizations you’ve worked with to stabilize their finances and improve their financial reporting. - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
