As the Senior Accountant, you will play an essential role in supporting the financial operations of the business and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full-Cycle Accounting:

o Manage journal entries, general ledger analysis, and maintain robust internal controls.
o Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:

o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
o Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance.

  • Audit & Compliance:

o Coordinate and prepare audit packages and support the external audit process.
o Ensure compliance with tax filings, regulatory requirements, and banking covenants.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

o Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
o Update and maintain cash flow forecasts and provide financial insights into operational performance.

  • Process Improvement & Finance Transformation:

o Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and process improvements.
o Drive initiatives to enhance financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencies.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Support:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to support accurate and timely reporting.
o Provide financial support to the investment funds managed by the organization as needed.Qualifications
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Education & Experience:

o Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation (in process or completed).
o 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably with exposure to public practice.

  • Technical Skills:

o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
o Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.

  • Key Competencies:

o Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
