• Support clients to ensure needs are actively met (identify risks, deliver added value, provide advice, maintain strong relationships, etc.)
• Analyze financial information and provide valuable solutions for opportunities and challenges
• Plan, prepare, and execute audits, review engagements, and Notice to Reader files
• Analyze, prepare, file corporate and personal tax returns, as well as trust returns
• Prepare and file HST returns, and other government filings
• Coach and support junior team members
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Attributes for Success:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
• 3 – 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably as a CPA in public practice
• Proven knowledge and experience working with GAAP
• Proficiency with Sage, Profile, Cantax, and/or CaseWare is a definite asset
• Superior communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to thrive in an engaged team environment
• Ability to meet project deadlines within timeframes and budgets
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented work ethic
