Job description: Job Description:The Mason Group is recruiting on behalf of a prominent public accounting firm in the Richmond Hill/Markham area. This dynamic firm has experienced fantastic growth over the past several years from organic expansion and key acquisitions. This firm is looking to hire a motivated and service-oriented Senior Accountant to develop into a future leader of the firm.The primary responsibilities of this Senior Accountant position involve:

• Preparing Compilation engagements.
• Preparing corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, T5013 Partnership Returns, T3 Trust Returns, T4/T4A/NR4/T5 Information Slips, T5001 Tax Shelter Slips, GST and EHT Returns, ETD calculations, WSIB calculations.
• Coaching and guiding Associates and Staff Accountants.

TMGMSJob Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation OR pursuing and 3-5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Technical skills for accounting, asset depreciation, tax knowledge and bookkeeping.
• Experience with T1, T2, T3 and other tax forms mandatory.
• Strong technical background in Canadian Income Tax.
• Experience with CaseWare, and CCH (Tax Prep) considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
