Job description: Job Description:The Mason Group is recruiting on behalf of one of its best client – A full-service Chartered Professional Public Accounting firm located in Burlington, Ontario. For 50 years, this firm has served a diverse set of clients and is one of the leading independent CPA firms in the GTA. This firm is looking to hire a motivated and service-oriented Senior Accountant.The primary responsibilities of this Senior Accountant position:

• Independently complete compilation engagements including preparation of corporate income tax returns
• Research accounting issues in accordance with ASPE and ASNFPO and make recommendations on proposed accounting treatment
• Manage competing deadlines for multiple partners and managers while providing quality service to clients
• Prepare corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, T5013 Partnership Returns, T3 Trust Returns, T4/T4A/NR4/T5 Information Slips, T5001 Tax Shelter Slips, GST and EHT Returns, ETD calculations, WSIB calculations

TMGMSJob Requirements:

• CPA designation or pursuing
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards for private enterprises
• Demonstrated technical accounting skills and research capabilities
• Strong client service and communication skills
• Self motivated, results driven
• Proficient using CaseView/CaseWare and TaxPrep software
• Strong knowledge of various Excel functions
• Experience using QuickBooks or Simply Accounting
