The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry and be keen to improve processes. You will have a high attention to detail and be flexible with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the main responsibilities include:

• Full cycle project accounting
• Review and prepare adjusting journal entries
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Review of actuals to budget
• Assist with month-end close process
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Assist with year-end audit
• Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
• CPA designation is considered an asset
• 4-5 years’ progressive experience in accounting
• Previous experience in the construction industry
• Excellent English communication skills, oral and written
