Job description: About the Opportunity

• Prepare monthly analysis of change/variance between actual vs mid month forecast/budget
• Prepare monthly accrual of Advertising & Promotional expenses tracking
• Coordinate the collection and entry of mid- month forecast data, including net sales, cost of sales, variances & operating expenses
• Complete the quarterly reporting package to US
• Review of supplier/freight/duty invoices for proper coding & allocation of operating expenses
• Prepare and generate special accounting/sales reports for analysis (i.e. ad hoc reports for US or local management, Stats Canada)

About You

• Accounting Designation
• 4-5 years of Budgeting, forecasting and Full cycle accounting experience
• Exposure to an Inventory based environment – manufacturing, retail, distribution etc.
• Advanced Excel
• Excellent communication skills
