Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in the finance group and bring a proven track record in financial reporting, analysis and compliance.Our client is committed to:

Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Work with Controller to provide analysis and insight into the financial performance of the business
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather budget and forecast information
- Support the Controller in developing and monitoring the annual budget and forecasts
- Assist in the analysis of budget variances and recommend corrective action
- Support the Controller in establishing and maintaining robust internal controls
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiencies
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in preparation for the annual audit engagement
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the junior finance team
What the successful candidate will bring:
- CPA designation or near completion
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or processing industry
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation
- Excellent communication and people skills
- The ability to manage time and meet reporting deadlines
- High level skills in manufacturing accounting and standard product costing
- Previous experience with ERP systems
