Job description: About Our ClientOur client, located in Toronto, is Financial Services firm and looking for a Senior Accountant Accountant to join their team.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the CFO the Senior Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Responsible for performing daily full-cycle accounting duties and maintaining related schedules
• Perform full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties
• Prepare monthly commission payout calculations
• Prepare monthly tax filings (HST, etc.)
• Preparing internal financial statements on a monthly basis
• Assist with the annual audit
• Manage the payroll process and work closely with the external payroll provider
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

• University/College Degree related to Accounting/Business
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is required
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail in an environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Note: This position requires candidates to work on-site

Expected salary: $95000 per year
