Job description: Description & Requirementsabout this teamThe financial reporting team is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and reliable financial data for use in the business. This team is supporting with the upcoming mandatory sustainability reporting standards such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), SEC Climate Disclosures, and California Climate Disclosures, by bringing experience from a regulated SOX and SEC environment into this new and exciting area of regulation.a day in the life

  • Support in the formalization of a controls environment for the social, climate, and other environmental reporting processes.
  • Support subject matter experts from various areas of the business including the Product Sustainability & Environment, and Sustainable Business and Impact teams by documenting processes, controls descriptions and controls documentation to support upcoming regulated sustainability reporting.
  • Review and provide guidance on controls documentation including risk and controls matrices, process flow mapping, and controls checklists.
  • Support on implementing controls over new IT systems for reporting

qualifications

  • You possess a CPA designation (or equivalent).
  • You have experience with controls either through a controls owner, auditing, or consulting capacity (preferably in a SOX environment)
  • You have experience working with non-accountants
  • Familiarity with the upcoming climate standards such as CSRD, SEC Climate Disclosures, and California Climate Disclosures is an asset
  • Familiarity with GHG protocol and sustainability reporting is an asset
  • Big Four Accounting firm experience is an asset

The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 – $107,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
