Job description: Our client a progressive and establish boutique accounting firm is seeking a Sr Accountant to join their growing team. Those currently working in public practice and have completed their CPA designation will be given preference.Reporting to the Partner, duties will include but not limited to;

• Oversee financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic decision
• Manage daily accounting operations, lead month-end and year-end closings, mentor junior staff, and work with leadership to analyze financial data and maintain compliance
• Building client trust through accurate, timely and high client engagement, ultimately driving the firm’s growth
• Prepare & complete year-end financial statements and direct contact with clients
• Assist in onboarding new clients
• Review the day-to-day work performed by colleagues to ensure accuracy and best practices are present
• Assist virtual CFO services including; budgeting, cash flow projections, and KPI reporting, consolidations, and other reports as requested by clients
• Assist with bookkeeping & sales tax-related tasks

Those with a deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting will thrive in this position.
