Job description: A full-service accounting firm dedicated to helping our clients achieve and exceed their business goals is looking for a staff accountantResponsibilities

  • Plan and execute compilations and review engagements, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with ASPE;
  • Preparation and completion of corporate, personal, trust and other income tax filings;
  • Provide exceptional service to our clients, including managing the information flow;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a CPA designation or has recently written the CFE;
  • Minimum of two years experience working with private, owner managed clients in a public accounting firm;
  • Canadian tax experience including preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and various other required filings;
  • Experience with Sage 50, QuickBooks, CaseWare and Taxprep.
