Job description: Temp to Perm Senior AccountantAre you an experienced accountant and are searching for contract-to-permanent opportunities? Our client is seeking a self-starting individual to join their team.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Execute the full cycle accounting function and support the Controller in preparations of the financial statements/board reporting
• Prepare accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations/working papers
• Manage relationship with auditors by providing support and answering queries
• Contribute on ad-hoc projects as needed

Your strengths include:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel is a must
• Self starting personality and ability to think of the next step when management is unavailable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in the construction industry is an asset
• Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
