Job description: Job Description:In anticipation of future needs Robert Half is currently seeking Senior Accounts Receivable Specialists throughout the Calgary region.As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist your day to day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding receivables.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior accounts receivable staff.
• Ad-hoc duties as requested.

Requirements:A successful Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or financial operations, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Available to start immediately
