Job description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Our client is undergoing an amalgamation and requires a skilled professional to assist with the integration and closure of the acquired organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP systems, amalgamation, and reorganization activities. They will play a key role in closing out balance sheets, assets, AR, POs, and managing the cutover plan.Responsibilities:

• Financial and Systems Integration
• Consolidate balance sheets, close out assets, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Purchase Orders (POs)
• Cutover Planning and Execution
• Assist in building and executing the cutover plan for the amalgamation
• Work with various areas of the business at the transaction level to ensure smooth transitions
• Identify and solve problems to facilitate the integration of transactions across the organization
• Ensure proper use of systems, maintaining a clear audit trail throughout the process
• Manage or assist with one of 14 substreams, contributing to the overall success of the project
• Planning and Coordination
• Interpret step plans and derive actionable work plans for execution
• Collaborate with different departments and teams to ensure proper execution of the cutover and closure tasks

ABOUT YOU:You are a certified CPA, CA, or equivalent professional, with extensive experience working directly on transactions involving amalgamations, reorganizations, and similar business activities. Your systematic and critical thinking ability allows you to effectively troubleshoot issues during both the cutover and closing processes. Your proficiency in planning and coordination, coupled with excellent communication skills, ensures you can work both independently and collaboratively with ease.
