Job description: Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization that’s looking to add a Senior Bookkeeper to their Finance team. This is a full-time/permanent position.Advantages:-Competitive salary (70-75K) + bonus-Full Benefits + RRSP’s-3 weeks vacation-Wellness program-Parking-Excellent team & cultureResponsibilities:-Process and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions-Bank and monthly Credit Card reconciliation-Month end processes-Tax calculation and remittances-Monitor staff time sheets-Support staff by assisting in preparation of travel expense statements, purchase requisitions, and expense claim reports-Responsible for contractor invoices and timesheet approvals-Responsible for sending all quotes and preparing invoices for annual support customers and FDA customers-Assist the management team; and implement new accounting procedures if required-Assist with renewal of the Companies annual insurance policies-Assist with financial management-Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality-Other duties, as assigned by Finance ManagerQualifications:-Post-secondary education is preferred-3+ years of bookkeeping experience-Proficient with MS Office 365, especially Excel-2+ years experience with SAGE50 (Simply Accounting) or comparable accounting software-Demonstrates a strong ability in areas of accounting and full cycle bookkeeping-Reliable, well organized, able to multitask, and detail oriented-Problem-solving skills, ability to make decisions, and sound judgment-Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and listening-Proactive, able to anticipate and plan for future needs-Ability to foster good working relationships to achieve success-Ability to manage competing and changing demands and priorities in a dynamic environment-Hold or have the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance-Self-starter, takes initiative, and possess leadership skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
